I was told that my house has Polybutylene pipes by my plumber and this type of pipe was recalled. He also told me that I can get the pipes replaced by the company. If this is true can some one tell me how to get this done.

we called the company in Texas, and they sent info on the pipes, but we were told there was a deadline in the year 1999 and we not eligible as it was now 2005.
Anyone who had basement waterproofing done previous to spring flooding of 2007 and found problems with system that had sump pump installed please let me know. Anyone else that has favorable reviews of any company for waterproofing with the cutting of the concrete floor to install drains, please let me hear. If you had problems let me hear that as well.

I was told by my plumber that if we keep sending in complaints about these pipes they will open up to claims again. Is this true? We are now having trouble with these pipes. We have had 2 different leaks behind our walls. It's getting expensive to fix.
Any information anybody has would be greatly appreciated.
