When toilets are flushed or water is

turned on at sinks, loud vibration

is heard from the walls, apparently

caused by water pipes vibrating.

What can be done to eliminate the

noise?

A quick closing valve like a ball ***** or solenoid valve from a dishwasher or washing machine or piping not supported properly can cause hydraulic shock waves
