I have about a 70' run of pipe I need to bury that runs from the house to a pit I dug to carry sump water away from the house. Is there anything special I need to do to bury the pipe? Also what is the best drop per foot to use for angling the pipe to the pit?

I use cast Iron piping and depending on the GPM flow rate would determine the fixture (normally 1 GPM = 1 FU)

In no case would I use less then 2" pipe below grade as for angles I use 45 deg fittings and 1/4" per foot is decent pitch
