The floor drain in the basement is clogged and now the toilet in the basement is over flowing this toilet has never been used and I have been living here for 18 years. It also has the wash tubs clogged. I don't have a septic tank. What can I do before having to call a plumber and trying to save cost. Thank you

Rent a snake with a 3/4 wire open the street side of your building house trap then open the house side and hope it is only a trap stoppage.. IF not start snaking away from the house BE VERY CAREFUL not to get the snaked tangled on tree roots or any of your limbs.

DO NOT even think of chemicals as I would say 102% of them are totally useless
