could someone please explain how to replace my electric water heater? I have a 30gal. It has a copper pipe that comes into the house. I will be replacing it w/40gal. When I take the fittings loose at the top of the tank. Will I need to reconnect the copper?? Please tell me no. Or at least that I should be able to take apart w/out bothering that part of the line. I am pretty clueless, sorry.

When in doubt hire a licensed , insured plumber before you do some real damage
