How many pounds of pressure is needed for a propaine tankless water heater?
How many pounds of pressure for a natural gas one?

i think they need a minimum of just a few pounds of pressure to sense water flow regardless of the type of fuel employed.
ok so both will be the same poundage?
I need to know exactly how many pounds of pressure we'll need as we are making our own tankless heater (through a company in china) and they need to know how many lbs is needed.

repeat the question(to me)exactly as it was related to you.
are you sure they're not asking how many gpm that the device needs to provide.

I am working for a man here in WV who has all sorts of new innovative ideas and equipments he's trying to impliment all around his farm. One of which is a specially designed tankless hotwater heater. The people he finally settled on to help him build this are in China.
They asked him what the United States regulations on gas pressure are?
(ie.. how many pounds of gas pressure would be needed for a tankless hotwater heater.)
(I can probably get a copy of the letter on Monday when I go into work.)

Gas pressure should not be the requirement it is normally sized by volume required for BTU INPUT and developed length of piping.
For example in NYC any gas coming higher then a 1/2 PSI is considered high pressure
I think the person in WV should speak to someone in that area like a building code official or AGA or NFPA
This picture is a high gas installation
