No joke literally a pain. I need some help, I know this is a simple question but I am at a loss. Sons bathtub/shower has a drain that has the dang screw on top. The drain is clogged and drano has not been our friend. We have a snake, however, we cannot get the topo f the stopper off. Can someone help me?

for starters the correct way to snake a tub drain is through the overflow.

as far as the tiptoe stopper goes try holding the stopper from turning as you unscrew the knob after that comes off then the whole assembly comes out with a screwdriver.
