We have a 2nd floor bathtub that leaks after a bath. We find a small puddle of water on our kitchen counter. Any ideas how to fix this would be appreciated.

most likely i would suspect the rubber washer that's under the tub drain or the overflow washer.or they could also be not tight enough.

You may have a serious problem that would require a professional.

Showering does not have the volume of a bath so many times the piping drains at 50 -75% of the piping diameter and a bath waste flow will uncover tiny holes or a corroded pipe often missed by just showering like possibly a hole in the drain line on top.

The best way to find the actual cause normally is opening the ceiling below fill the tub and actually look up and see where the leak is coming from
