I'm trying to change an old faucet in my kitchen sink and there's a C bolt holding it that I've never seen. Please see the picture and help!!! How do I get that out? The rusted "bar" is hooked up to the faucet itself. The rusted C is holding it against the sink. Has anyone seen this before? Thank you

what about that screw?did you try taking that off?

sometimes the only way is to cut.with a dremmell or a saw.

it might help to remove the sink so you can flip it over and work from the top.
