Hi:

I am installing perimeter drains around my house and water keeps coming into the trench, and the clay keeps turning into muck. Would it be safe once I get the water pumped out and the muck dug out to pack in a few inches of 3/4 road base before the water comes back in, and lay the perforated pipe on top of that and then cover it with the required drain rock? I can’t lay the pipe on the ground in the bottom of the trench because the pipe would fill up with muck.

Cheers
