Dear community members, I have been a long time lurker and this is my first time posting.

I recently renovated my bathroom, it came out very nice, however, my new toilet bowl (St. Thomas Creations model "Palermo" with Quattro Flushing Technology) is pretty bad in flushing performance, just the reason I bought it as I was told it has the best flushing technology. I purchased this from Expo Center in NJ.

I do notice that the secondary hole that is directly opposite from the main outlet hole has some plactic in it. I have tried to remove it but it doesn't budge. I am not sure if this secondary hole is a vent and whether it needs to have this thin plastic sheet to clog it or not. Besides removing the entire toilet bowl, I don't see any way how to remove this plastic sheet and whether I should remove it at all.

Any advise is highly appreciated from this knowledgeable community members.

Regards,

jay

Having installed over 1,500 toilets during the NYC greater toilet change out to conserve water I found the Crane $59 toilet to be amazing and even installed 4 of them in my own home and NOT ONE CALL BACK .

Not bad for a $59 gravity WC with very little noise.

Got to love "state of the art" failures
