The plastic piece that hooks the flush arm to the flapper broke on my Crane toilet. I fixed that but now the water continues to run into the bowl. When I press on the "air bubble" portion in the center of the flapper and push it all the way down it stops the water but then when I let up it starts running again. Is it possible to fix the problem without replacing the flapper?
