This has got to be the most antique of showers, anyway, the valve for the shower is under the spot. When I push it up the water sprays everywhere instead of going up to the shower head. I've cleaned the shower head just in case, but still the water doesn't divert upwards? Any "easy" fixes that this unfamiliar female can do? Can I just buy "any kind" of new shower handle system and replace it one, two, three? Any advice would be appreciated because I obviously don't know much about this stuff but I'm willing to try. Thanks!
