all of a sudden cold water pressure became low to nothing, took and replaced water filter below sink, did not work, nexted removed filter system and replace lines directly to water source, still no cold water , hot water works fine.

sounds like the filter is not seated correctly.
Slowly remove the filter. You may need to put a towel down.
And reinstall slowly.
make sure there is not a cap inside the filter as well.
This prevents dirt from getting into the filter but will prevent water flow if installed with it still in place.

You may also try the following if you have someone helping you
1- shut the cold water supply and disconnect the filter casing
2- place a pail or bucket under the filter line
3- place your finger over the aerator and turn on the hot water faucet to back flush the line in case any sediment blocked it
MAKE SURE THE WATER IS NOT TO HOT
