I had to have some foundation work done and they cut a hole in my floor - I need several pieces of the Wilsonart laminate flooring in cottage oak - the type that is glued.

I've had 2 planks get water damaged and I'm also looking for this discontinued pattern. Will share info if I find any.

We need this flooring too. Did you have any luck finding it?

I did find Cottage Oak and may have a small amount of extra planks. (flooring guys are here now). Do you still need it? Although Wilsonart discontinued Cottage Oak they ran the same 'paper' as Southern Oak until 9/08. We had to replace about 700 feet following a flood and had to special order this material. It is identical in color, pattern and texture, but had to be routed on one side to match the original floor. Wilsonart assured me this happens all the time and the floor now looks great and you can't tell the difference. Will sell what we have left.

Do you still have extra flooring?

I have a partial loss and am trying to avoid replacing all my flooring. I put Cottage oak in about 9 years ago.

Hi and yes. We just finished replacing the portion of our finished basement that was damaged by a flood. We have six boxes (8 planks each.....approximately 20 sq. ft. per box) left. (Plus a lot of pieces) Wilsonart apparently stopped making Cottage Oak in Sept. 08... Found the 'paper' in storage and made a new flooring called Southern Oak until they ran out of the paper. It is exactly the same surface material, however, the base has a different connection. In the place where it had to mate with the original floor we had it routed to match the old with the new. Took the flooring people less than an half an hour to match the two (we had about a 14 foot seam) and apparently this is a common practice. The floor is now perfect and we had put it in 8 years ago. We also have the viscose material that goes under it. We jumped a lot of hoops to find this stuff (somewhere in a distributor in Mass.) but it was definitely better than replacing the whole floor. Please let me know if you are interested. I will check to see what we paid.

Hope this helps..

Wow, That sounds great. I know I don't need that much. I should be able to talk to a flooring guy next week and find out how much I need and if they are willing to rout it.

We have a small area that is warped from a tub leaking in an adjacent bathroom. I won;t know the extent of the damage until they pull it up. The dehumidifiers are still running. They don't want to pull it up until they determine if we have mold coverage.

What state are you in? I guess it could be pretty expensive to ship it.

We are in Illinois. Depending where you are I would anticpate we could ship UPS in that they pick up from our office daily. Each box (of 20 sq.ft....8 planks) weighs 31 pounds. Definitely cheaper than putting in a whole new floor. The routing apparently is a fairly common procedure. Wilsonart told me that it happens all the time.

Let me know.
