I have a Scheirich cabinet lazy susan that won't close. I think the ball bearings at the bottom are worn out. I can't get to the bottom unless I take out the metal rod. The instructions on the lazy susan say to cut the rod to get it out. Is there another alternative besides cutting it in half?

Contact Scheirich.tel for Ball Bearing replacement and Repair Parts. Yes,the instructions to cut the rod is the best way to remove the bottom shelf bracket that hold the Ball Bearing. If you need to adjust how the Doors align up to the front of the Cabinet Face Frame, look under the toe kick area and you will find a set screw. Loosen the screw and then take a flat head screw driver and slide it between the bottom shelf and inside bottom of Cabinet. Look for anotch and slide the bottom Cam Plate that Roller Bearing rides on. Move Cam Plate in the direction needed to position the Came Plate to where ridge or dip in Cam Plate allows the Roller Bearing to come to a rest position and the Cabinet Doors are in proper Flush position. Tighten the set screw. Hopefully this will solve your problem.
