I have a framed house with a brick exterior. I was thinking of adding a room on. We already have an exterior door were the addition would go. The question I have is: Can you leave the old brick wall and just tie in the new walls into it? If this is possible I would then build a 2 x4 cover wall over the brick to handle electrical etc.
