We are wanting to add a second full bath to our ranch style home. Theproblem that we have encountered is the concrete foundation. This makes the project a very expensive one. We have been told by the plumber that we will need to cut the concrete from the room that we are wanting to make the bathroom out of all the way through the house to the water meter out front. This will entail cutting all the way through my family room and the driveway out front. This is quite expensive as far as labor. Any suggestions that may help with other options to do this. I realize that I will have to jackhammer the concrete in the existing room but hopefully there are other options as well as how to get the plumbing outside. The existing room is on an outside wall. The home is a brick home.
