My 1934 raised ranch home has hardwood floors. At one point the 12" x 36" register covers were custom made of wood to match the floors. The register covers have been weakened over time because of cracks and breaks. Not to mention, they are large areas of my floor that cannot be used for fear something, or someone, may fall through! I am now looking to replace them with something more durable like cast iron, but am having a hard time finding the size I need. Any suggestions??

Thanks in advance,

Courtney
