I have a longwoood duel fuel furnace that I want to sell. In good condition - we still use it, but we need to convert to something that will not tie us down during the winter. 200 gallon oil tank and new stove pipes (still in the boxes) included.

Yes, the longwood furnace is still for sale. Included also, still in the boxes, is new stove pipes and associated material.

We live South of Springfield, MO.

I also have a 200-gallon fuel tank for sale.

No, I do not have a schematic for the thermostat. I do believe a well-seasoned (read, been in the business many years) HVAC technician should be able to figure out the wiring.

Two years ago I replaced the contactor mechanism in my furnace, because the contact had burnt to a crisp. After studying the wiring, I believe it works like any other furnace that has a "look-ahead" option, one that can detect the rate of change of temperature. At least I think mine has that kind of thermostat.

As far as pricing, I am asking $795 for the furnace, and $500 for the tank.

kenn; thanks for the reply. hope you find a buyer, sounds like a very fair price. i'm converting mine over to an outdoor burner and am trying to use the existing one as a heat distribution unit. thanks again.

I was looking for a parts source for my Longwood furnace and noticed that you were looking for instructions for the furnace. I have a manual if you haven't found one yet. Let me know. Email me at [email protected]
