I'm installing base cabinets in my dinning room and there is a 3/4" drop in the subfloor from one corner to the next where the cabinets are going to be. The span is 11'6" between 2 side walls and cabinets will go the entire width of the wall. Is this too much of a gap? Instead of starting at the high point in the subfloor, should I start at the low point and trim the cabinets to level? Any help would be appreciated!

Start at the high point and cut the kick, usually the floor finish will cover the finish gable, if you have one... that will basically determine it, but typically anyway, you start at the highest point.
3/4's not bad... I've seen some real drops in some historic homes.. a 12 1/2 in 20 ft was one bad one... and it's still like that they sell antiques there now and didn't want it repaired (or pay to repair it)? It's like a roller coaster.
Even new ones sometimes are a lot worse, just check to make sure it's not a real structural problem so you aren't going to have to re-install again in a few years.
