- Pergo Prodigy PX 3251 Rustic Red Oak
I have one full unopened box and 4 planks available. you can email me directly at poehlmanns@yahoo.com if you want them. Thanks! npmp
Hi all,
I've run into the same problem and found a different solution. I called pergo to find out which of their new lines would most closely match the discontinued wide plank rusic red oak that I have already installed in my dining room - so that I could finish the adjacent room. The VERY helpful person from pergo told me that they lost the contract with home depot when Dupont mirrored the product. I went to home depot myself with my leftover plank in tow and, low and behold, he was right! the home depot real touch elite collection by Dupont has a colonial oak wide plank floor that is identical. Side by side I can't tell the difference. It's also available online.
Hope this helps someone.

I was just wondering if you put the two floors together if the ends match the same and are compatible? Did you do this?
Thanks! Lisa
Thanks! Lisa
Hi Lisa,
The two rooms don't actually join one another. They sit side by side and there's a tile walk between them. But both are visible and I can't tell the difference looking at them. The boards are the same width and length as the pergo, so I don't think that it would be a problem if they did. Wishing you luck finding what you need.

Many, many thanks to you about the information regarding the Dupont product that mirrors the pergo rustic red oak. Your information was a major saver of our remodeling project. We knocked out a wall and extended our living room only to discover that the flooring in the living room had been discontinued. You are right you can't tell the difference between the pergo and the dupont real touch elite collection colonial oak which is the same width and everything. Again, thanks for your help and your post.
I'm trying to help my dad find more of this and he also found the DuPont product at HD but he doesn't think it can connect to the Pergo. He is trying to connect it to the existing Pergo floor in the kitchen and run it into the family room. Did you have any success with connecting it? Any info would be great! Thx!
