I receiently installed a 130000 BTU boiler in my home about 2 years ago.Latly Ive noticed the system pressure running very close to 30 psi when it normally runs at 20 psi.I had a problem with the saftey valve leaking a little so i replaced it. i checked the expansion tank, scv valve, and the atmopheric vent. All are functioning properly.Just to mention the new saftey valve has not leaked yet but the pressure guage is saying any time now Any advice would be helpful!!!

Possible causes for increased pressure.
- water fill valve leaking by.
- Expansion tank water logged/too small
- Water temp too high. set between 180/200
water temp.

I cannot tell you how to check each individual potential problem, due to legal ramifications.
Consult heating proffesional.
