I have a screen porch which I intend to enclose for a sunroom. My house already has 3 zones, each with a separate HVAC system. I have capacity to bring in some heating and air from one of the 3 systems. But a large room with a concrete floor would be miserable in winter. This is Memphis,TN, and we get cold in winter and hot in summer -- and high humidity always. So I thought of adding a system for adding heat to the concrete floor, on a thermostat, and using warm/hot water. What manufacturer is recommended? I am afraid of systems which may not be any good ten or more years from now. Can plastic really withstand concrete over the course of years? Please advise.

We installed plastic tubing in a concrete slab last year, so far we love it. We used a Bosch propane water heater that heats only on demand. There is no tank of hot water standing to get cold. I had to insist on using it as 2 "experts" said it was overkill
but my space is limited. Also it has a longer lifespan. It was $500 instead of $300 and we did not use the storage tank. We put the recommended antifreeze in. info from Bosch at www.cehot.com saraknows
