April Aire hunidifiers are reccomended. Bypass type humidifiers are best because they pass through fresh water. A humidifier which has a basin fill of stagnet water can berrd some nasty things (bacteria).

Skuttle Humidifiers are made in Marietta, Ohio and are just fine. They have a flow through design just like April Air.
