What temperature should the air coming out of the registers be? I've noticed that on our hottest days (97 degrees with 90+ % humidity, ya' gotta love Atlanta), the temp of the air is around 64-66 degrees. On cooler days, it is more like 62-64 degrees. Is this where it should be?

Generally the temperature differance should be 20*. Air in to air out. When the humidity is hi, you can expect this temp differential to be less,....16-17*. As you remove the humidity from the air, that is when you will see it closser to 20*
