I have a 150 yr old house in Maine and all the steam pipes have been stripped of insulation. With the price of old, I'd like to get these insulated but I can't locate a product to do the job. And cost is a factor, since I have about 160 ft to cover.
Any suggestions?

Look up any industrial insulation supplier in the yellow pages or on the web.
What you want is mineral wool or fiberglass pipe insulation. It generally comes in 3' sections with a ASJ jacket (all service jacket) and should not be more than a couple bucks a foot, depending on pipe size and insulation wall thickness. You'll probably want 1/2 or 3/4" thick wall insulation...
