It is an infants room so I need the temperature in the room to be as close to "normal" as possible (as if the vent were unobstructed).

I ACTUALLY found what I needed. An air deflector. They come in different heights so there is one that will fit under my dresser and blow that air right on out into the room!!!!!

Yeah......$1.87, yes thats right...$1.87 is a lot cheaper than buying a new home!!!!!!!!

May I ask where you found one of those for that cheap? I am trying to put my couch over a heating vent and I am afraid it will catch fire or something.

Either that, or does anyone have any suggestions?
