My Question is why remove it? Does is work? have you had it checked out yet? That system is very warm and is still used and installed today in homes across the country. Do you have the cable imbedded in the plaster or is it above the plaster? most HVAC or electrical contractors can review your system. Most older Ceiling heating systems only need the current style of thermostat to bring it up to operating standards....Rod
