I currently have a 3 story victorian where the air handling unit is up on the third floor towards the front of the house and of course the family and I spend most of our time on the 1st floor family room towards the rear of the house. The 1st floor seems to never really get very cool and I'm think of adding an addition AC unit just for the 1st floor. Given that there's some many different brands out there has anybody done any research with respect to quality or which brand is better then another.
