What's the general consesus on using MDF to build kitchen cabinets? It's relatively cheap, easy to machine, paintable. Is it strong enough? What is the best joining method - screws? dowels? rabbets?. Please share share your experiences. All input is appreciated.

I have been working with mdf for years number one thig is to use 3/4" and the best grade posible. yellow glue ,pre driled #8 wood screws,and biscuit are the best also try to have horizontal pices suported as they can sag
