I just changed the nozzle on my Beckett oil fired burner and now I have oil leaking out of it! I went back and rechecked the connection of the oil line and it apperars to be seated properly and is tight. Upon further inspection there is oil on the electrodes. Is it possible that the nozzle is not tight enough? I was told to make it snug and be careful not to overtighten it for the possibility of stripping it. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. And yes the next step is to call in a professional. Thanks for any help in advance.
