I have a woodstove in my finished basement and would like to get some of the heat upstairs. There are vents cut in the floor and ceiling, but it doesn't seem like there is a lot of air flow. Anyone use duct fans for something like this? Any good brands out there? Thank you.

I too have a woodstove in a first floor family room with a vaulted ceiling. I ran a duct with a vent fan through the wall, through the attic and into the upstairs hall. It works great, I bought the duct fan at the Home Depot.

Thanks Mike,
Did you use the small fan that mounts in a circular duct????
