I have a new towel rail that gets cold at the top. It is running off my hot water. The cold area aleays reaches a point of about 8 inched down then stops. If I bleed it the same thing happens again. I notice that the point at which it stops is the same height as the top of my hot water tank give or take an inch or two. Could it be that the tank is too low and that is causing my problem?

Thanks for the advice. Do you think that the height if the boiler plays any part at all or is it just a Coincidence. Also, after fitting the air vent can I ever hope to have an air free system or will I have to bleed it every couple of days from then on
