I've never installed crown moulding before, but plan to put it in my family room. In searching the web I've seen two ways of handling inside corners. one is to cut both pieces at 45 degree angles, the other is to straight-cut one piece, then cope-cut the other piece and butt it against the first. would both methods look the same? which one is easier for a beginner?
also, i've got a bulkhead running along the length of the room with the window blinds behind it and am not sure what to do. Should I run the crown moulding along the bulkhead on the inside of the room, or have it wrap around the bulkhead on both ends and just finish?
