I have electric radiant heat wiring in my ceiling. I'd like to remove the popcorn treatment on the ceiling -- the house was built in the late 60s so it my have asbestos in it (plus it doesn't look very nice). I'm guessing I'll need to have someone licensed to do asbestos abatement do the work. Can this popcorn removal work be done without damaging the radiant heating wiring in the ceiling? Any tips on things to be wary of would be much appreciated.
