I have popcorn ceiling in the house. Any suggestions to give different or trendy look without scraping it off. Any alternatives to cover the popcorn ceiling.

Perhaps you could go over it depending on the type of popcorn used.
If it's the type that dries hard then I guess you could use a skip trowel method and it would create a rustic adobe like surface, very common today.
If it's the type of popcorn that sort of comes of like snow when touched, you would be better off scrapping it.
