I currently have a multi zone baseboard heating system in my house. My front entrance hallway (5'x10') is the only part of the house on slab, and is currently heated with 2 pieces of 3' baseboard. The hallway is constantly cold, radiating cold into the interior of the house.

The rest of the house is very comfortable.

I used PEX (the white/clear kind) from the circulators to the baseboard. Can I use this PEX to layout a cicular grid on the slab in this hallway - and cover it with a 3/4" oak wood floor (obviously I would need to use some self leveling aggregate to cover the PEX itself and provide a flat surface to adhere the oak planking to) - to increase my heat output in this hallway?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Phil
