we need to replace our electric central air/heat system...we were recommended a Ruud, but are not sure of it's efficiency and reliabilty compared to say Lennox, Carrier or Amana. can anyone help with which would be the most efficient and reliable especially with the cooling...we live in south texas! Also, we are looking to replace with a 2.5 ton ,12 seer unit. Thanks for any direction! it seems nearly impossible to find a website that compares the reliability of these things!
