Hi, anybody

Simple question. On the freestanding air conditioner unit, there is an out-take line wrapped with black-form insulation. The insulation is cracking so I wrapped it with a foil insulation also enclosing the intake line. Would that hurt the intake or out-take line with the wrapping?
