The LED is blinking continuosly. Does anyone know what this could mean? It blinks about once per second when the unit is not running and faster when the heat is on.

Its probably just indicating that the furnace has power and that there is no call for heat and that all is normal. There is a code key on the back side of one of your panels, most likely the one with the sight glass. I bet there is no problem. Usually when there is a problem it will blink something like three flashes then stop then blink three flashes again. It will blink rapidly in a normal call for heat.
