i live in the northeast and i moved into my brand new house approx 1 month ago. i gc the house myself and built a ranch approx 2500sf. i have hot water baseboard heat and central air with two air handlers that are located in the attic. (THE CENTRAL AIR HAS NEVER BEEN TURNED ON) the ceiling is well insulated. the problem i am having is water is dripping from two air ducts the guy who installed them said it sounds like a condensation problem. i tried to cover the grilles to prevent warm air from flowing up into the ducts but this has not helped if anything it has made the problem worse. all the duct work is well insulated as well. any suggestions

Could you have air leaks in the joints of the ducts?

Have you looked at the insulation yourself? The installers could be thinking it's "good enough". That way they don't have to come back.

If it's a new house and still under some warranty, dump it on the builder. Just keep calling and saying "Fix it." The squeaky wheel gets the grease.
