Run away blower, my 15 year old payne furnace blower will not stop running, only if you shut the power off or by the safety switch on the front door panel, the gas will not turn on, so no heat, this is a up draft model with a auto reset on it, I did bypass the reset to test it but that didn't help, Im thinking control board but maybe someone may know the real problem. Thanks

I normally don't get on this forum much as I know how little I know about furnaces. (So HK, "be gentle!")
But I did have a similar problem a while back with a York furnace. (It would just blow cold air.) Turned out I had knocked a wire loose when changing a filter. So if you just recently changed a filter, it's worth a look.
Hopefully the fix will be that easy. But if not, I'll just stand back out of the way! Good luck!
