My house has a built in garage that is no longer used as a garage. The previous owner had the garage door removed and the wall finished off and a regular door added for access. The room is now finished with a carpet floor and has baseboard heating. Its used for storage but may be cleaned out and used as an exercise room.

Any issues with adding an AC duct into this garage room? I'm not asking about ac cooling capacity but more about safety/zoning/town-inspection type concerns.
