I have a new construction home that has 5.25" baseboard trims, and the gap for the baseboard diffusers is 18". The vent is cut out on the floor. Unfortunately, I'm having a very hard time in finding diffusers that are 18Wx6H (5.5H would work too. I'll also consider a 24Wx6H if it came to that, but while the latter measurement exists for intakes, there's nothing for diffusers (why?) -- the closest is 14Wx6H. I'm getting very desperate! :(

Does anyone know where I can find these diffusers (18Wx6H or 24Wx6H), even if they are special orders?

Thanks for your reply! Yes, it is next to the wall but on the floor, and I am looking for the one with the sloped front. Unfortunately, the ones I've found (and the ones you've kindly provided) are only 4.5" high. The 406 looks like it sits on the floor. My baseboard trim is 5.25" high and it looks odd to see a diffuser "dip" along the baseboard. That's why I'm looking for a diffuser height of at least 5.25"-5.5"H.

I've looked at Hart&Cooley, American Metal, Selkirk, with no luck for the width and height combinations. However, I've a friend who has the same baseboard dimensions and apparently has a diffuser with 18"x5.5". He got it installed by the HVAC company he used, but he doesn't know the brand. I've called and left two messages with this company asking if they know who makes it and that I'm willing to purchase from them, but they've not called back. :(

I don't require that the diffuser is from any specific maker, just that there is such a size and I can purchase it.
