Does anyone know where I can find electric heat wire for ceilings. We are remodeling and had to take ours out and they say it is hard to find now.

I understand that the old systems used a heating wire that was then later plastered over.

Don't know if that type of system can beused with drywall or not or if you can find someone one to do the plastering after it is replaced.

There are electric ceiling radiant panels that can be installed in ceilings. A google will find those.

There is also electric heating wire (or cable) that is used for warming floors (there is also mat versions used for that). A google will also find those and read the specs and applications on them and see if they have any details on ceiling installaitons.

Also check localing for electrical contractors that have been in business for a long time and see if they do this or have information on it.
