I've just added a 14' x 32' sunroom on the back of my house. Even though my down stairs unit is over sized, i can't get under the room to run duct work. Is there a stand alone unit on the market that I can get to heat and cool the room? I live in Tn. but the room is in the shade almost all day. I have two ceiling fans in place. During the summer the fans almost keep it cool enough. I haven't finished the floor or the wall on the house side yet. Any one have any suggestion?

I think the ductless split system would be a good solution. You could get a through the wall PTAC if the ductless split is too expensive, but the ductless system is a lot more high-tech, quieter solution that is the best.

PTAC's can be less expensive, but can be loud and less effective.
