How difficult and expensive is it to had zoned heat/ac to an existing home? I live in a West Michigan home that was built in the 50's. I have a cold basement in the winter and a hot 2nd floor in the summer. Any recommendations?

This is a difficult task to do properly unless you are a pro. You don't want to mess up the system and cause a Carbon Monoxide issue. Your best bet is to get some quotes. They many only need to install a couple of dampers and a second thermstat. That shouldn't be too bad.

Thanks! I'll look into it.
