We just had a new tankless Weil Mclean boiler installed. The other night as I was showering my wife decided to use the washing machine. The result was no hot water or pressure in the shower. This is one of the reasons we replaced the previous burner. The washer is closest to the furnace.Do you think this is a furnace problem or a plumbing problem? Thanks.

The 1/4"-3/8" hot water pipe routed from the washer to the shower is too small in diameter.

Options: Replace hot water pipe from washer to shower with 3/4" preferable OD or 1/2" min.

Option 2: Route dedicated 1/2" pipe from tankless heater directly to shower.

Option 3: Locate tankless heater between washer and shower.

Option 4: Remove/resize the water restrictor from inside the shower head but don't tell Trentt Lott/Ali Gore/Ted Kennedy.
