In need to accurately located pex heating pipes in a concrete slab. Any ideas?

I took photos with a tape measure laid out before I poured the slab. It's been almost 2 years ago and the photos are not as clear I would have hoped.

Thanks!

There are a number of tricks that you can try.

One is wet mop the floor and get it good and wet. Then turn on the heat and see where it dries first.

Use an infra-red thermometer. You will need to get close as most of them have a fairly wide angle of veiw (1 to 6 or 1-8).

Use an infr-red "camera" or scanner.

Some energry people have them. Also fire departments. If you have a volunteer FD you might talk them into doing it as a training session with you also donating to the department.

I've thought of the ir camera but I have not been able to find one.

I'll keep looking around, thanks!
